| "One Great Hour of Sharing is an offering that makes real the love
of Christ for individuals and communities around the world who suffer
the effects of disasters, conflict, or severe economic hardship, and for
those who serve them through gifts of money and time. Through One Great
Hour of Sharing, UCC congregations transform themselves and a world in
dire need by recognizing the face of suffering, the face of
Christ--assisting refugees, sustainable development, and worldwide
emergencies." This year Westminster will join with other UCC
congregations in a special offering on Sunday, March 22. Eight other
denominations and Church World Service will share in the opportunity,
collecting funds to distribute around the world for needed work and
witness to the compassion and love of Christ. For more information
