Adult Educational Opportunities:
- Weekly, Bible study, in a small group format in
the church parlor on Wednesday from 1-3 pm. Contact Sara Weaver for more
information.
- Each Sunday, during the church CAFÉ hour
(CAFÉ=Children, Adult and Family Enrichment Hour) 9:40-10:25, an Adult Forum
meets in the church parlor. This group of curious, questioning adults can
be found discussing wide-ranging issues of faith and community concern.
This forum seeks to engage the intellect and the heart in an effort to honor
the Great Commandment of Jesus: “love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37
- Spiritual Practices of Prayer and Contemplation
are offered throughout the year as need is requested and discerned in the
church community. Pastor Andy and Pastor Marj are happy to empower and
assist in such ministries. During the season of Advent and Christmas
Tuesday's at noon; silent prayer and contemplation will be offered in the church
sanctuary and is open to all. Scriptures, music and silent prayer will be
offered.
