The Westminster Christian Action Team (WestCAT) is a group of concerned members and friends of the church who work to deepen the quality of church community life through careful listening to the pressures and pains of members, and then move into action in response to these pressures and concerns. This group works in concert with the entire Spokane Alliance, of which Westminster is a participating member. The Spokane Alliance is a community broad-based organization with over 30 member institutions that come together on issues of concern to work for the common good. Westminster has benefitted from this relationship with excellent leader training, and many opportunities to act on issues of concern to our members. This action has been local as well as statewide, and is geared toward results that improve lives and improve the city of Spokane. Interested persons can contact Nick CastroLang, chair, 998-3255.
