Westminster Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ is dedicated to fulfilling our mission to lead the congregation in worship through musical offerings of the very highest standard. We want to exercise and develop the musical talents of this congregation so they can be used to glorify God.  Our musicians cover a wide range of abilities, musical genres (from classical to jazz) and ages (from six to 106). Westminster is blessed with many fine musicians who regularly grace us with their music, including Paul Grove on guitar, Corri Collin on violin, Mary Chavez on piano, as well as Chancel Choir section leaders Chris McLain (Baritone), Mark Safranek (Tenor), and Becca Cheadle (Alto).

The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in worship and in song Sunday mornings at the 10:30 a.m. service and in special services throughout the year. This is the main group of singers made up of all ages and musical abilities, and rehearses Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. each week.
