Women:  Westminster has expanded its opportunities for building community and building faith among women.  A long standing tradition of “Women’s Circles” continues among devoted older members of the congregation.  As more professional women, working women, and young mothers seek opportunities for spiritual support and growth, new small groups have arisen to meet their needs.  New groups are always welcome to be formed, and Pastor Andy is dedicated to helping lay leaders in creating these groups.  Currently active groups include:

·        A group which knit and crochet together, creating throws and lap robes which are a blessing to our sick and homebound;

·        A group of women who discuss spiritual books and volunteer regularly in service;

·        a group has formed to explore creativity and artistry as a spiritual practice;

·        There is a group of mothers of grown children who meet for support as they explore new phases of life.

·        every winter a group of young mothers gather weekly in the Social Hall for a warm, safe place for their toddlers to play and for the mothers to interact

You may contact the church office for information and phone numbers for contact persons of these group leaders.
